Below
are some simple (hopefully) instructions on how to use one of our
free templates with eBay's Turbo Lister.
1.
Download the template you want to use onto your computer. You will
have two files - one is a text file and the other an html file.
Open the txt file and highlight all the code and copy it.
2.
Open Turbo Lister Program and begin setting up a listing as you
normally would - with the Description and Category for your listing
3.
Your next page will be where you enter the description - see photo
1. Be sure the designer listing button is not checked - that is
another way we are saving you money per listing - by using OUR FREE
templates!
4.
Now you need to click on the HTML VIEW tab in Turbo Lister, then
click in the white area where you would enter the description.
5.
Next step is to press down on the Control Key on your keyboard and
while holding that key down, also press on the "V" key.
This should paste the code into the white box in Turbo Lister. See
photo 2.
6.
If you want a picture to show up at the top of your listing by the
listing name - and at the bottom of your listing, then add the free
photo that ebay gives you.
7.
Next, click on the "DESIGN VIEW" button and if all went
well, you should see the template and can start typing! If you don't
see the template, chances are you did not get all the code when
you copied/pasted - so just repeat the steps again until you see
it. See Photo 3.
8.
To add a photo from your online service with us, just type something
like PHOTO HERE - then click on the html button and put your mouse
by those words. Copy the code for your picture that is provided
here, then paste it next to those words you typed. Click back on
design view, and you should see the photo. Delete the words... and
you are all set!
9.
Click the "next" button, enter your price, shipping, etc
and be sure to save your file.
10.
If you plan to use the same template for different auctions, it
would be a good idea to set it all up but not enter photos or text
- then save it with the item description name of "ebaytemplate"
or something like that. Then when you get ready to use it, you can
"duplicate" it in Turbo Lister, and make your additions
on the duplicate - always leaving the original intact.
12. If using
eBay directly, copy code and paste it (Control V) into the "Enter
Your Own HTML" box, then click on the "Standard"
button to see the template design and to begin entering text. |
